Rocky Point Dining & Shopping
Rocky Point's dining and nightlife is quickly growing to accommodate its new tourist set. With frequent additions of new restuarants ranging from traditional Mexican cuisine like that as Hacienda Las Fuentes to dramatic sunset viewing points like La Casa de Capitan to lively oceanfront fiestas like Sr. Amigos. Shopping in Mexico is always an adventure. Negotiating is standard (and expected) at stalls and roadside stands; however, at stores like the ones listed below everything is marked with a price that is usually not negotiable.American dollars are widely excepted and there is no need to change money. There are also ATM machines available at most banks. If you use the ATM remember that the amount you enter for withdrawal should be in pesos as that is what you will receive from the ATM. Check the exchange rate of the Mexican Peso before using the ATM, or purchasing anything using the Peso. Credit cards are accepted at most hotels, restaurants, and the larger shops.
